Trixie and puppy

Trixie is a Cairin terrier. She is going to be 10 years old in April. Trix is the perfect dog! Rarely barks, is always sweet, paitent, and (almost) always well behaved, even with a rowdy pup! She was a very good mom when she had puppies of her own. The pup is Jazmine, a cairin/chuahua mix that lived with us for 3 years, but needed her own house and human who had time to give her undivided attention and love. Jazmine now lives with Susan, in a beautiful old Victorian house which she guards well. To Susan she is the cutest, smartest, funniest dog alive. She is royally spoiled rotten in her new home, and Trix is probably a little lonesome.

Mom's Day,2006

Every Mother's Day we go to the conservatory( one of my favorite places on Earth!) Here is the "Murphy Clan", left to right-Carlin, Louis, Tina, Bennett, Alena, Casey, Yolanda, and Levi. I am taking the picture and don't want myself on film anyway. What a handsome bunch, what great kids if I do say so myself!!

Red Fern

This was such a surprise-a red leaf coming out of a green plant! On a later visit, all the leaves were green. If you ever want to get beautiful botonical photos just visit the Conservatory in the spring. New leaves can be as mesmorizing as blooms. I also framed a cropped version of this.

This birds nest fern was photographed at the Conservatory at Como Park in the Spring of 2006. All the ferns were putting up fiddleheads, fresh and delicate. This one is framed and on my living room wall.
